Is Verdeat ecological?
In essence Verdeat is very environmentally friendly. We have reduced vegetable production costs by eliminating the entire mass production chain, i.e. logistics, transport and packaging, as well as soil and pesticide erosion problems. All vegetables, that grow in Verdeat have a huge, very positive impact on ecology. Additionally we want to make sure our negative impact on the environment is insignificant as possible. We decided to make Verdeat even more eco-friendly and we are contributing to the UN emission reduction program. We support the sustainable development of the region where the emission reductions take place via Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) projects. This way CO2 emissions during shipping of all our products will be offsetted. You can check the Certificate in the attachment.
More info on the project can be found here https://offset.climateneutralnow.org/.
