Strawberry and spinach salad

VERDEAT

Ingredients (for 2 servings):

  • Fresh spinach leaves (4 handfuls)
  • Fresh strawberries (1 cup)
  • Walnuts (30g)
  • Linseed oil (1 tablespoon)
  • Balsamic vinegar (1 teaspoon)
  • Suggested spices: freshly ground black pepper

Preparation:

  1. Thoroughly wash the spinach leaves and then cut off the ends (if you are using “baby” spinach you can leave them on).
  2. Wash the strawberries thoroughly, remove the stalks, and cut the fruit into slices.
  3. Chop or grind the nuts.
  4. Mix the spinach with strawberries and nuts.
  5. Sprinkle with linseed oil, balsamic vinegar, and sprinkle with freshly ground black pepper.
